Pricing

A fair price for quieter nights.

Seven days on me. Then from $12 a month. No card. Every trial starts with Small and covers up to 3 projects. Pick a paid plan only when you decide to pay.

Plans

Deploy checks share one daily allowance

Shared across your whole account, the seven-day trial gets 20 deploy-triggered check runs per UTC day; the allowance for a paid plan is shown on its card. One check started by a detected deploy uses one run.

If five checks are eligible and only three runs remain, that deploy starts none of those five. Your usual daily checks continue as planned.

History and recordings are not the same thing

History is the record of what I found: which check ran, what it did, how long it took, what broke. Recordings are the video and the screenshots of the moment something broke.

Recordings are kept for 30 days on every plan, including Portfolio, and then they are gone. They can contain your users' names and email addresses, and I'd rather not hold that. Portfolio's twelve months buys you the record, not a year of video, and a run older than 30 days says so instead of showing an empty player.

Questions worth asking

Do I need a card for the trial?

No. Seven days on me. No card. Seven days of Small, and you decide afterwards.

What happens after the seven days?

If you haven't picked a plan, I stop checking. Nothing is deleted on the spot: your projects and history stay readable for 30 days, and paying at any point in that window picks up where I left off.

Do archived projects count?

No. Archived projects don't use a project slot. A project I stopped checking because it hasn't answered for a week is not archived — it still uses its slot until you archive it.

What counts as a check?

Only active checks count towards the per-project limit. A check you've turned off stays stored, with its history, and doesn't use a slot until you turn it back on.

What is an alert destination?

One verified place I can write to: an email address, a Slack webhook, a Discord webhook or your own webhook. All four kinds are on every plan and all count towards the same limit.

Are there usage charges?

No. Your monthly price is your monthly price. A busy deploy day, a manual run or a month with more runs in it changes nothing on the invoice. The limits I keep to protect your site and mine are safety limits, not a meter.

Why are recordings only kept for 30 days?

Because a recording is a video of your application, and it can show your users' names and email addresses. I'd rather not hold that. History is the record of what happened and can stay longer; recordings are gone after 30 days on every plan.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancelling stops the next charge, and I keep checking until the end of the period you've already paid for.

What happens if I downgrade while I use more than the new limit?

If you move from Growing to Small, the 3 oldest projects that aren't archived stay covered. Within each of them, the 3 active checks you added first keep running. Newer projects and checks above those limits stay saved, but I don't run them. Archive a project, turn off a check, or pick a bigger plan again to change what fits. Nothing is deleted, archived, or turned off automatically.

Business use, tax, and getting your money back

stillworks.watch is for business and professional use only. By subscribing you confirm you are acting for your business or profession, not as a consumer. You don't need a Czech identification number or any particular legal form; a sole trader anywhere in the world counts.

Prices are in US dollars. Where the law requires it, VAT or a similar tax is added to or collected with the price. How the figures above relate to VAT: Prices exclude VAT and similar taxes.

Cancelling and refunds: Fees for a billing period that has already started are not refunded. A duplicate or erroneous charge is refunded, and an exceptional case is looked at individually. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and checks keep running until then.

You do not need a card to start, so nothing is charged until you choose a plan. The subscription renews until you cancel; cancelling stops the next charge and I keep checking until the end of the period you've paid for. It does not delete your account on its own.

The last thing to remember

Someone should be checking. It's me.
